Born 1982. Around 1995 after reading an interview with childhood hero Jean-Claude Van Damme, where he talked about being into ballet and art, Rasmus also started to practice dancing and painting water color in his room. After a short period of stretched feet, high jumps and pirouettes, the interest in ballet slowly vanished. The interest in art though somehow continued, water color developed to spray and late moon light sessions, he jumped a fence, back to the canvas, to sculpture, video, installations etc.

In 2017 he founded Schimmel Projects, a platform for contemporary art projects, curatorial practices, writing and more.

From Copenhagen, Denmark.

Lives in Dresden, Germany.
